You can do software development. We take care of the rest.
We are looking for people who are really good at what they do technically and want to get even better at exactly that. You do not have to be able to sell yourself. You do not have to write a profile, search project marketplaces, send applications or negotiate hourly rates with agencies.
That is our job, and we do it for you: we write your profile together with you, find the right project, hold the interviews and make sure the next project follows the current one. You are permanently employed throughout, on a fixed salary, including between two projects.
Small, personal, and the boss is a developer himself
You may know the other model: a large employer, three layers of management above you, decisions nobody explains, and a manager who does not understand what you are working on. With us it is different, because we are small and want to stay that way. Deep Data Ocean is a close-knit company.
Your boss is Stefan Anders, a developer himself, who has worked in client projects for many years and was previously responsible for 35 countries as Head of Development, with his own staff in ten of them. He is directly reachable, takes time for technical questions and backs you when things get difficult in a project.
Remote or on site: your decision
Where you work is up to you. If you want to work remotely, we look for projects that allow it, with occasional visits to the client. If you prefer to be on site with the client, we look for that. Both are fine, and you can decide again with every new project.
Keen on AI?
With trAIder we run our own AI system with a GPU cluster, LLM inference and reinforcement learning. Anyone who wants to can get into AI and platform topics there, on real infrastructure instead of in an online course.
Who we are looking for right now
At the moment we are mainly looking for three profiles: AI developers with Python, C# developers, ideally with React or Angular, and Java developers. If you are really good at something else, get in touch anyway. Our clients are based in Germany and work in German, so you need a good command of German.
